What is a 2 way entry pallet?
A 2 way entry pallet is designed so forklift forks enter from two opposite sides. This construction is commonly based on continuous runners or bearers supporting the deck boards. The required board sizes, spacing, runner section and overall dimensions depend on the load, handling method and customer specification.
We manufacture new two way wooden pallets and pallet skids for commercial users. Pallets can be produced to an existing drawing, matched to a sample or developed around the size and handling requirements of the product being moved.

The drawing shows a 1200 x 1000 mm two way entry pallet/skid with a low-profile construction and the heat-treatment requirement identified on the design. It is a useful example of how a two way pallet can be specified clearly before manufacture.

Two way entry pallets are used where the product, loading method or existing handling system calls for entry from two sides. They can be especially useful for bespoke products, machinery, long or heavy items and packaging systems where the pallet forms part of a fixed specification.
Where pallets are being exported as regulated solid wood packaging, we can discuss ISPM15 heat treatment and marking requirements as part of the supply.
