How long does a heat-treated pallet last? - On Average, a well maintained heat-treated pallet has a life span of 3 - 5 years with regular use. If stored in dry conditions and handled carefully, some can last up to 10 years.

Does the heat treatment (HT) certification expire? - NO, the ISPM 15 heat treatment mark is permanent and lasts for the entire lifetime of the pallet. You do need to re-treat the wood if the pallet undergoes repairs where new untreated timber is added.
